Freire Charter School is committed to protecting our students, teachers, staff and community health and most recently underwent water testing by Indoor Environmental Concepts, LLC in April 2024 and May 2024. These rounds of testing resulted in one non-drinking sink at Freire Middle School producing actionable amounts of lead after remediation. This sink has been visibly labeled “For handwashing ONLY, do not drink.”
Both Freire Middle School and Freire High School were certified Lead Safe. You can view the lab results below:
