Our academic program is rigorous and college-focused, culminating in a full-year independent research project in senior year. Intensive individual academic and college counseling means there’s always someone looking out for your child, connecting them to opportunities, and guiding you through the college application and financial aid process. From after-school academic centers to individual and family therapy, Freire has a culture of support and encourages students to access help when they need it.
College Counseling
Freire’s dedicated academic advisors and college counselors work closely and carefully with every student starting in 9th grade to make sure they have everything they need to attend the best college for them —from applying and being accepted, to applying for financial aid, to having all of the academic skills they’ll need to thrive in college.
