In August 2012, Freire Charter School opened the doors of its new middle school! We currently serve students in grades 5, 6, and 8–with 7th grade being added for the 2013-2014 school year.
Our middle school campus is located in the historic F.W. Woolworth Building at 1026 Market Street, a location offering students access to a number of Center City’s educational and extra-curricular resources. Academically, we are a college preparatory school and will build off of the great success of the high school to provide your child with a top-notch middle school experience.
